The Cascade Foundation of Southern Arizona is proud to announce a new community program for the 2020/2021 school year called the Classroom Hero.

The purpose of this new campaign is to provide a funding opportunity for students to raise money for their school classroom.  Funds can be used to buy school supplies, offset expenses for a field trip, improve educational lessons or celebrate a classroom accomplishment.

Each student (K-12) in the Southern Arizona bleeding disorder community currently enrolled in school may submit one Classroom Hero grant request for the 2020/2021 school year for up to $250.

How to apply
Student application: each eligible student must complete a brief funding application and submit to the Cascade Foundation with an explanation of what they would like to use the money for and how it will enhance their learning experience this school year. 

Teacher Reference: Each application must be accompanied by a teacher reference letter that illustrates how the teacher will utilize the funds for their classroom.  Teacher will also agree to submit a recap to the Cascade Foundation along with photos to be used on social media.
